Drive in the Adirondacks

We took a scenic drive in the Adirondacks which is a bit of a drive just from our place but it was great. We listened to Deadline by Sandra Brown on the way over and back. The Adirondacks are soooo much different than being in the Rockies. They are tree filled and rounded unlike the rugged and snow-capped Rockies. We drove mostly on Route 28 and 28A today but plan to come back and try some other drives later.

We couldn't help but stop at the Adirondack Museum. It is an enormous facility with lots to look at. Unfortunately by the time we arrived, we didn't feel that we would get to see enough of it to offset the entrance fee so we are going to try to stop by on another day.

We found another enormous chair that Lee managed to climb.

I didn't even try to get up on this one!  The other one was taller but there was a stump to stand on!

Idem Class Racing Sloop named Water Witch built in 1900. One of 200 boats in the Museum's collection.

"Packing Out" by Michael Ringer on sale for $8,000!
