Tonight we went to the Riverside Club in Mission Texas for dinner and a dance with the Rockers. They have a really nice dance floor and this is our favorite place to get tenderloins in the Valley.
I was sitting on the deck reading and all of a sudden, there was a ton of squawking going on in the palm trees on the other side of the street. I knew it had to be parrots so I went in and grabbed my camera.
It wasn't a huge flock of them but it sounded like there were a 100 of them!
This palm pretty much filled up with parrots and they stayed for a little over an hour. They must have needed a short rest before they found where they wanted to be. We love seeing them as they pass by but we sure don't want them to decide to live here. We had parrots in one park we stayed in and they were so noisy that there was no sleeping in on the weekends or any other day for that matter. And they squawk at night too just as loud!
