Today we went to an Indoor Kite Festival. We never knew that kites could fly inside, but obviously they can!
The pictures don't do justice to this event at all so I've included a couple of short videos just to give you an idea of what it was like. We were kind of in awe of what the flyers could do with no air movement. Of course, these kites are built for that. They are very very lightweight and made to fly even without wind with some help from their flyer! And, you don't want to think you can run out and just buy one of these. One of the best flyers we have ever seen was flying at a Kite Festival in Oregon a few years ago. He ultimately went into business selling kites that he designed. These light weight kites can range from $195 to $600 depending on what is needed.
