Tonight Lee and I went to see the Hidalgo Festival of Lights. It is mostly a drive-thru event but they have added areas where kids can play and other areas where you can get out and enjoy being engulfed in some of the light displays.
I bought the tickets for tonight knowing that bad weather is on its way to Texas. By the time we arrived home the wind was howling and the temperature was starting to fall. By morning we are supposed to have freezing weather. We brought in all our plants before we left and we covered our succulent fountain in the front yard with its plastic house. Lee puts a light under the plastic and it keeps the succulents really happy. Most of the time they grow like weeds under the plastic.
