CHRISTMAS AT BIG RED RANCH

We really didn't know what to expect from Big Red Ranch's Christmas Show but we decided that we should see what it was all about. It was fun finding the place  It is in the country in San Benito and we passed by the gate and drove a few miles before we decided to turn around. We are certainly glad we found the place in time for the show. It was really nifty! We have a couple of short videos that will give you an idea about the show.

Big Red's Ranch is a ministry for children without fathers. Here is a link to what they are all about.

Once we arrived at the Ranch, we were escorted to the parking for the show. The show alone was worth the small fee and the drive.

Here are a couple of short videos from the show so you can tell what it was like.

Here are some still shots of the show.

After the light show, we were sent on a trip around the Ranch to see all their lights.

There were a lot more lights but our cameras wouldn't pick them up well as you can see. This lighted road was the way out. As you can see it started to snow as we drove thru it. That sure was expected and we loved it since we don't see snow here in Texas!

Edingburg Christmas Lights

There are so many parks in the area with wonderful Christmas lights and we drove over tonight to see the Edinburg lights in the City Park which is right next to the Birding Center that we love to visit.

They did a great job and the pictures are self explanatory.

South Pole Illuminated

Tonight we have tickets to drive thru the South Pole Illuminated Christmas Lights that are at the McAllen Convention Center Parking Lot. They did a bang up job. It was a wonderful holiday experience. The worst part was being in line to get in. Believe me, arrive early and eat before you come. The good is expensive and just so-so!

These lights were awesome!
