Visiting with our Grandson, Jayden, in Oskaloosa

Today we drove over to Oskaloosa, Iowa to visit our grandson, Jayden. He is Greg's youngest child. His Mom just remarried so they moved here from Chariton, Iowa. Tonya gave us directions to get there but we got really lost and it took us forever to get there. We had to call her from the boonies to get directions to their house.

Oskaloosa isn't very large and there wasn't anything or anywhere to go for fun. So, we ended up going out to eat. Jayden picked the restaurant and the food was good.

Jayden didn't want his picture taken, as you can see from the following wasted pictures! However, he should know better than to try and keep Grandma from taking pictures of him!

He had grown a lot taller since the last time we saw him!

FINALLY, SOME DECENT PICTURES OF HIM!

After we ate, we went over to the Mall to look around. There wasn't much going on in the Mall either. So, we bought some cards and played several games of Uno with Jayden.

That's the winner - Me. I cleaned their clocks!

Visiting Family Graves

Today we took flowers over to Cedar Memorial to place flowers on my Dad and Mom's grave as well as my Grandma Dolley's. Then we go to the other side of the cemetery and check out Uncle Tillman and Aunt Ruthe's graves. Some of our favorite people that are now missing from our lives!

Danica's Birthday Party

We are again visiting family in Iowa. And were glad that we could be here today to help Danica celebrate her "NOT 21" birthday! lol

Chance decided Danica needed a party this year and so he put together a big bash. Lee helped put up the lights outside and I helped in the kitchen. Chance spent a few days building a pallet bar and it looks pretty good.

Not sure who decided it was Danica's 21'st birthday
but who were we to spill the beans!

After already a busy day, it was time to get Tommy ready to play football practice.

Addi loves art so there is always something in process.
