Theodore Roosevelt National Park - South Unit

Today we headed out to the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. First we stopped to pick up some lunch so we had something to eat once we got there. We wandered around the park for a bit and took a few pictures of some of the animals we came across.

Canadian Goose

Big Horn Sheep

We saw a huge hill of Prairie Dogs and they really didn't like us taking pictures of them. They kind of squealed at us!

Deer

Then we stopped at the Visitor Center and looked around. While we were there we decided to big the Large National Park Passport Book since it is more current and will be easier to find!

Then we were back on the road again in the park seeing what we could see.

We saw a ton of bison today.

Prairie Dog Town

They are cute but I'm glad they are in a park
and not in my yard!

We came across a ton of bison today in all areas of the park
