General Custer's Reconstructed House at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park

We managed to get to Custer's Home just as the last tour of the day started. We toured with a group of very well behaved children who arrived on a school bus.

We met on the porch and, as you can see,
our Tour Guide was in costume

Mrs. and General Custer lived pretty well

General Custer had a pretty nice bathroom for that time. A flush toilet and a sort of bath tub.

Steps to the Basement - we didn't go down

Then we went upstairs to the bedrooms

In one of the rooms upstairs

General Custer was a hunter and there are lots of
hides of animals around the home

Outside the Home

After we left the home, we went back to the Commissary and had some snacks as we were starving. Then we messed around in the book store for awhile.
