Ivinson Mansion in Laramie, Wyoming

We arrived at the Ivinson Mansion in time to join a tour that was in progress. There were only four of us in the group. Because the other two young ladies had been through several rooms already, we joined where they were and then the guide took us through the rooms we had missed when they left. So, if these pictures seem a bit disjointed, that is the reason.

I would say this is a study but it might be a den. It was a masculine room for sure.

Ladie's Bathroom - note the great shower with jets everywhere!

Then we headed up to the Attic. There was just a bunch of varied types of stuff in the attic. Things that were probably kept elsewhere when the house was occupied.

After we toured the attic, the girls were done with their tour so we were taken back to the rooms we had missed.

This was another bedroom

These dolls are dressed as the owners of this home were when they were married. I believe it was a wedding gift.

One of the outfits that the Mistress of the house wore for a grand event, I am sure.

I didn't get a very good picture of this table but you can see that it was intricately hand-carved. It was gorgeous!

This is the Music Room

You can see the grand staircase in the picture above.

The yard had quite a few ducks and hens in it and a pheasant.
