Day 3: Stop 3: Elvis Presley Birthplace Museum in Tupolo, Mississippi

We visited the Elvis Presley Birthplace Museum in Tupolo, Mississipi today. How could we pass that up???

Elvis Aaron Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, on January 8, 1935, to Vernon and Gladys Presley.  He was born in a two-room house built by his father, grandfather and uncle.  Elvis was one of twin brothers born to the Presleys. His brother, Jessie Garon, was stillborn.

The museum starts at a large building with lots of information and lots of trinkets and other merchandise that can be purchased. There is a lot to look at just in the store.

This museum is on the site where his home was when he was born.
