On the Way to Williams, Arizona

This morning we had our appointment at Camping World in Henderson, NV to have the motor in our rear air conditioner replaced. We arrived a few minutes late but they went right to work. It took a little over an hour to replace the motor while we waited in the store. Of course, we could not help shopping among the many RV accessories, supplies and replacement parts and found a portable inductive cook-plate. Mary has been wanting one of these devices for some time and the price was right.

So in addition to a refurbished air conditioner, we also have a more efficient means of cooking our meals. Once we took care of the bill, we were on our way by about eleven-thirty. We traveled to the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in Williams, AZ where we arrived about six-thirty. After setting up the RV without unhooking from the truck, we relaxed at home and worked on some of the many pictures we took at the Balloon Fiesta.

Tomorrow we leave for Gallup, NM to visit Mary’s long-time friend Cathy Pierce who lives and works at the St. Michael’s Mission located about thirty miles from Gallup. We plan to stay three or four days depending on Cathy’s work schedule. Then it’s south to Texas for the winter.
