Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada

We were excited to arrive at Valley of Fire State Park again.  We visited here in 2010 but only did a quick drive-thru and we promised ourselves that if we had the chance we'd return and camp here.  So, here we are again.  We arrived about 3:30 PM in the afternoon so we found a site and set up the fifth wheel.  There were only a couple of sites left when we arrived.

After we got set up, we took a ride around the main loop road in the park and just took pictures as the sun was illuminating some of the features and hiding others.  Tomorrow we'll have to take the same ride in the morning as we've never been here then.   The following are pictures taken along the drive:

When we stopped at Rainbow Vista to take some pictures, there was a bridal couple getting ready for their ceremony.  We can't think of a more beautiful place to have a wedding.  This is truly God's playground!
