Driving Through Nevada

Today was a driving day.  We drove from Twin Falls, Idaho to Winnemucca, Nevada along Highway 93 to Wells and Interstate 80 to Winnemucca.  We are on our way to Sequoia and King's Canyon National Parks in California.

Lee pulled into Hi-Desert RV Park which is a Good Sam's Park at about 5 PM.  It is a nice park with mostly pull-through sites so everyone has plenty of room.  It looks well maintained and has free Wifi and a nice pool.  The Wifi is not quite as good as it was at the last two parks, however.

The ride wasn't bad on the way but it just seems to me that Nevada looks the same no matter where you are.  I took a few pictures along the way.

A bit of farm land out there

When we arrived at Hi-Desert RV, there was a storm front moving in and it was a bit chilly and a lot windy.  The dust in the air was absolutely awful.  Luckily, it started to rain and that doused the dust.  I took a picture of the air before the rain.  Yuk!

Tomorrow we are heading to California.
