Mackinac Island Carriage Ride

We decided to take a carriage ride and this guy was our tour guide and driver.  The ride took us first through areas around town and then later we were dropped off at the Butterfly Conservatory.

Here we are at the Visitor area near the Butterfly Conservatory.  The bear is advertising the Lilac Festival.  I'm not sure if it was before or was coming later but whenever it was or is, they won't have lilacs as they are early this year.  Thank goodness for us!

Mackinac Island Hearse

There were several vehicles in this visitor area but this one is still used for funerals on the island!
