Chagrin Falls, Ohio

This morning we headed out to see Chagrin Falls and then some lighthouses in that area of the world.  Chagrin Falls is named for the scenic falls that are right in the center of downtown.  We came to see the falls but the town itself is such a  picturesque village that we stayed around and had some lunch at one of the local cafes and wandered around a bit.

This little bit of water is part of the falls!

This picture was taken across the river at another overlook.

Here are the steps we climbed down at the first overlook.

Bandstand
We had lunch at a little restaurant across from this bandstand that was called "Yours Truly".  We both had chicken salad sandwiches and they were pretty good, however, the best chicken salad we have ever eaten was in Estes Park at the Red Stone Restaurant.  I sure wish I had their recipe!
