The Duct Tape Festival, Avon, Ohio

Next stop was the the Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival.  The festival honors the heritage of the city that is called the "Duct Tape Capital" of the world.  It is the home of Duck brand duct tape.   We weren't exactly sure what to expect when we got there.

We were surprised to see fashions made from Duck Tape.  Not quite sure who would ever wear it as it would have to be REALLY hot!

This is the fashion duck tape artist

Chance Foreman from Denton, Texas is really an artist and he did all of these with duck tape.  They really looked good!

Duck Tape of all Colors

Here we are at the crafting tent.  Everyone was working on individual projects in Duck Tape.  Looked like families were having a lot of fun with it.

One of the Parade Floats

Also lots of rides and food!
We missed the parade as it was pretty early this morning, but we found all the floats lined up at the end of the festival grounds so I took some pictures of them.  Some of them were pretty creative!
