Touring the Locktender's House

After our ride on the canal boat, we walked back to the locktender's house for a tour. The house is decorated and furnished as it would have been when it was built (1928) and occupied by the locktender. The house was used until operations on the canal ceased in the 1940s. The Lehigh Canal was North America's last fully functioning towpath canal.
