Bushkill Falls

For our Fourth of July celebration, we met Jon, Michele and Isabel at Bushkill Falls - the Niagra of Pennsylvania - in the Pocono Mountains. We ate lunch at the picnic grove then headed over to the falls entrance. You have to walk about 15 minutes on a relatively flat trail (except for some steps) to view the main falls. This was as far as Mary and Michele felt comfortable going because of all the stairs on other trails. The rest of us continued another 30 minutes to the top of the falls and back.

A park ranger gave us a jump start (Lee managed to leave the lights on in the unfamiliar car - we were using Jay's Nissan Cube) so we could get on the road back to Jay & Peggy's.
