After the boat trip, we headed into Helena and had some lunch at Steve's Cafe. We would recommend the place. Lots of great home-made food. After lunch we drove over to see the Carousel area. This carousel has 37 unique Montana animals all carved by a Walt Disney Carver and 14 scenic carved rounding boards displaying stained glass by a local artist.
The carousel is located inside a building with a gift shop, party area and ice cream fountain. We each asked for one dip and got a huge bowl full
This area of town is called the Great Northern Town Center. In the center there is a play area where they perform Shakespearean plays in the evening. There is also an Exploration Works Science Center in Helena
