The Arboria At Cowle's Commons

Danica decided we should head over to check out the Arboria at the Cowle's Commons in Des Moines.

This Arboria is dedicated to the theme of ‘trees’. Each outer dome bears its own stylized leaf motif rendered in graphic simplicity to fit the underlying shape of a stellated dodecahedron. Triangulating the main dome the visitor will encounter three tree-like structures where cones and spheres combine to create a brightly luminous tree trunk and branches that reach over their head

It is an inflatable walk-in structure from the United Kingdom and is half the size of a football field! The structure includes light, color and sound. This inflatable structure is for all ages. It offers a dazzling maze of winding paths and cavernous domes. Everyone is invited to lie down, wander, or just sit to enjoy the beauty.

After wandering inside the luminaria, the kids decided to get soaked outside!
