We left this morning from our home in Weslaco, Texas for a vacation and to spend time with family. This will be our first large outting in our new Imagine by Grand Design. It is a 22" travel trailer and really holds a lot more than you would think. It has a nice size bathroom and kitchen, a 32" flat screen TV across from two recliners and a queen size murphy bed. The bed was hard as a rock but we found a gel foam mattress topper on it and now it is liveable.
We had a long drive but arrived safely at Potter's Creek while it was still daylight. We almost always camp at this park on the way to and from Texas. It is a beautiful park and the sites are nice and spacious.
Once we were set up, we headed over to our favorite restaurant in the area, The Italian Garden. It was a week night so there wasn't a long line waiting to get in which was nice.
The rolls here are to die or and served with garlic butter.
Tonight both of us decided to have Chicken Marsala. It was wonderful, as usual! We both had enough to take home for
another meal!
