Our friends, Miriam and Al Hight, no longer come down to Winter Ranch in the winter so we decided we needed to visit them in Lake City while we were in Des Moines.
First, we had a tour of their home which is really nice. Then we took a tour of Lake City and had lunch at a local cafe. We visited and later on Al grilled us some steaks and Miriam fixed the rest of a really nice dinner. Then we played Jokers and Pegs until it was time to leave.
We sure miss having them at Winter Ranch and hope they can rent something one of these days!
