Liam's Baptism

Today is a big day.  Liam is getting baptised today at The Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines, Iowa.  We drove over from the campground and met them at their house.  This church is just enormous.  They have five campuses and 17,000 members in the Des Moines area.  It is a bit different than any of the churches we have been members of or attended.

We attended the church service first and then all the families who were having babies baptized went into the Chapel for that ceremony.

We bought his baptismal outfit and shoes when we were in Texas. We visited Old Town in McAllen where they have a wonderful shop with tons of religious outfits for Baptisms and Communions. They are so different than what we see in other areas that we thought we would surprise Danica and Chance with an unusual outfit for the occasion.

We had a crowd for their house but we managed to get everyone fed and I think everyone managed to hold Liam too!
