Mid Valley (Weslaco) Lighted Christmas Parade

Tonight we headed to Weslaco on the Winter Ranch Bus to see the Christmas Parade.  Jack, our driver, found a great place to park the bus right near the parade.  We were a small but happy group when we arrived at the parade route.

Once the parade started, it started to drizzle, however, we all had dressed for the weather and it wasn't the least bit cold so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

The theme for this year's parade was "A Merry FROZEN Christmas".  Most of the floats had the movie "Frozen" theme and we listened to "Let It Go" and "Do You Want To Build A Snowman" over and over again!  It was almost like visiting our grandchildren this past summer when we watched the movie over and over and listened to them singing the song constantly.  They are definitely catchy tunes!

There were lots of huge semis in the parade and you have to wonder where they all came from.

Then the Stretch Limos arrived on the scene.  There was even a RV Limo in the parade.

Jingle Bells

The parade ended as it started with lots of horns and sirens by police and sheriff's vehicles, border patrol vehicles and fire trucks pronouncing the beginning and end of the parade.
