Berkshire Botanical Gardens

After lunch we headed straight over to the Berkshire Botanical Garden.  These gardens are among the oldest in the United States and have been expanded over the years. The plants and collections emphasize plants that are indigenous to or thrive in the Berkshires.  Originally called the Berkshire Garden Center, the Garden was established in 1934 by the Lenox Garden Club on a parcel of land donated by Bernhard and Irene Hoffman.
