Bar T 5 Chuckwagon

We had a great time at the Bar T5 Chuckwagon. One of the workers at the DVC (Discovery Visitor Center in Moose) made the arrangements for a group of us to go. The wagons are authentic except that they have rubber wheels, steps to climb up, padded seats and they have an extra plastic under the canvas so that if it rains we don't get wet. I bet our settlers would have loved those amenities! lol

There was an Indian raid on the way to the dinner which was fun, However, one of the horses slipped and almost went under the wagon behind us. Luckily, no one was hurt. They go galloping around you so fast that it is pretty hard to get any pictures but I did manage a couple.

The food from the event was really good and plentiful. We had BBQ Chicken that melted in your mouth, sliced BBQ beef, corn on the cob, salad and blonde brownies for dessert. If anyone wanted seconds they were available!

"If my Nose was Running Money"

The entertainment was good too with quite a bit of audience participation. The guitar player and the fiddle player are brothers and both were really good! The most fun song was "If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you". We'd never heard it before but it got tons of laughs.
