Martha's Gardens Date Farm

The last time we were in Yuma in 2010, we visited Martha's Gardens Date Farm and it was very interesting so we decided to stop in again.

Martha's Gardens Date Farm was founded in 1990 by Nels T. Rogers and his wife Martha, in Yuma, Arizona.  The started off with 300 Medjool date palms and now have over 8000 palms in over 130 acres of desert.

Martha's Gardens is a family run and operated business which is proud to mention that it grows, packs and sells its own product.

The last time we were in Yuma, we visited here but it has been awhile and we decided to see if anything had changed. I think the only thing that has changed is the price of the dates and that is true for everything else as well.

You can find out more about Martha's Gardens and how dates are processed in this website:  marthasgardens.com.
