Hurricane Hanna Havoc

Well, we survived our first Hurricane here in Weslaco! The last one, Hurricane Harvey, came through when we were gone during the summer. We had no damage at our place and I'm not sure how much other's had since we weren't here.

Hurricane Hanna came though last night, July 26th. Actually, the Hurricane came ashore on July 25th in Port Mansfield but we sure had the rain and winds here in Weslaco last night.

Here are a few pictures from the streets close to Southern Comfort:

These are some pictures from our senior resort in the Valley:

Actually, this is damage at our sister park next door.

Quite a few places lost their trim.

The dumpsters quickly filled up with Palm debris

I think we were lucky because we didn't have anything at our house but some palm branches down that blew over to our place. We are right between two other houses so that can help in these situations. When it was more open around the mobiles, they got more damage.
