Winter Ranch offered another trip to Wink's and we managed to get on this one. It is a popular trip! Wink's is a bar near Brownsville. It is open Thursday through Saturday. On Thursday, they have a calf roping contest that you can watch from your table while you eat or sit outside in the stands. You can also dance at Wink's. The group "Senior Moments" was playing tonight.

We weren't with a bunch of dancers tonight so we only danced a couple of dances. Otherwise, we sat and visited and watched the calf ropers. We finally went outside and watched from the bleachers.

There is a buffet at Wink's but we chose to have a meal of baby back ribs which were good but not something to write home about.

We were hoping that someone would ride the mechanical bull tonight, but, alas, no one did and I certainly wasn't going to try it!
