Our Dancing Buddies

We had a great time at the New Year's Eve Party at Winter Ranch.  The dance was to start at eight and we had two tables reserved.  We showed up at about 10 of 8:00 and the place was packed.  We were the last ones at our table and some of them got there around 6:30 PM!  They considered us very late! 

Everyone brought appetizers to the dance and we had absolutely loads to eat.  We took a bottle of Asti Spamante with us and it was really good!  The Texas Buzzards played and they are pretty country for us but they did play some rock and roll and we can fox trot or rumba to a lot of the country songs.  

The Activity Directors gave away free prizes and I (Mary) won a nice tote bag.   Our table was pretty lucky because Bill won another tote bag, not quite as nice, and Miriam won a Winter Ranch t-shirt.  Of course, there were nice big prizes including a $185 prize for the 50/50 drawing but none of us were fortunate enough to win that. 

We ate, drank and danced the night away - the seniors here at Winter Ranch know how to play!
