Point Iroquois LightHouse

Our third stop for the day was the Point Iroquois Lighthouse.  It  was first illuminated in 1857 and served for over 100 years.  In 1962 the light was extinguished in favor of a beacon farther out in the water.  The lighthouse has been totally renovated and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
