Painted Canyon Section of Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Today we headed over to the South Unit of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park - "Painted Canyon"  which has its own Visitor Center. The Painted Canyon Visitor Center serves the park but it is also a rest area on Interstate 94.

We drove the loop road to the closure point which was due to a road collapse in 2019 and then went back to the Visitor Center.

At the Gift Shop in the Visitor Center, we purchased the Large Edition National Parks Passport Book.
