Today we set out on another drive. This time to Bandelier National Monument. We drove about 100 miles to get to the Monument and when we got there it was closed due to a fire in the area. It was really quite disappointing. We were looking forward to seeing some of the areas where ancestral Puebloans lived. There are structures here that date back between 1150 and 1600 AD. It is also the Civilian Conservation Corps National Landmark District. Hopefully, sometime we can get back to see it.
So the pictures we have are mostly from the drive on NM 68.
