This is the Mormon Temple which is now under seismic
renovation to protect it from earthquakes. Thus all the renovation. It was very disappointing not to be able to see it!

The Mormon Tabernacle was constructed in 1864 and was completed in 1867. It had some renovations in 2007 and now seats 3500 people.

We wished we could spend more time here but we are running out of time in Salt Lake City.
