As we were driving on I-15 heading to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner, a ultra long landscaping vehicle rammed into our car with the back of his trailer. To me, it seemed that he just didn't realize how long his trailer was because he decided to move into our lane and he rammed us with the back of his trailer. Nothing happened to it, but his trailer backed over the front tire on the passenger side of he car. I yelled to Lee that he was going to hit us but we had nowhere to go! We were in rush hour traffic and weren't able to move our car out of the mayhem. It was a very scary ordeal.
The police finally arrived and blocked off three lanes and had equipment set up so that you would have had to be blind not to avoid the lane we were in. They also gave a citation to the driver of the truck, thank goodness!
We were stuck there for over an hour waiting to be towed. When the tow vehicle arrived, he ended up taking us to a place we could rent a car because by that time the police and the other vehicle had disappeared.
