Porcupine Mountain - Union Mine Interpretive Trail

The Union Mine Trail is perfect for any waterfall lover especially during especially rainy seasons. We weren't visiting in the spring so there wasn't much waterfall action but there was some. However, this  trail is a great one to get to know about the history of copper mining in the Porcupine Mountains. There are interpretive plaques that feature text and photos of the history of the region. This trail is just one mile long but it does have a 100 foot climb to get back. We didn't realize that but we probably would have gone anyway..

And we are back to the area where our vehicle is parked and heading into more scenery.
