Weikel's Bakery in Brenham, Texas

Yesterday when we were in the line for dinner, I asked the woman we were standing by for a recommendation on where we would find the best bakery in town. She recommended Weikel's so we stopped this morning for breakfast. 

It was one busy bakery!

We both decided to try the kolaches. They were different than what we are used to because the crust wasn't as sturdy but they were wonderful none the less. The dough wasn't just like bread dough. It was light and tasty. We loved them.

The bakery was so good we had to buy a bag to take home for breakfast tomorrow!
