I keep a watch on the Facebook Group "Rio Grande Valley Birding" so that if someone is seeing something exciting, we can take a look. Well, people were starting to post tons of pictures of birds that are rarely seen that are now migrating North. Well, we thought we better get over there and see what we could see. We took tons of pictures and saw soooo many warblers that we haven't seen before. There was such a variety of birds and it was hard to know where to look.
So, here are the pictures of the birds that we saw at the South Padre Island Convention Center grounds. I still haven't gotten through the pictures of the birds we saw on the Laguna Madre which is behind the Convention Center. I'll post those once I get through them.
