Our next stop on August 25th was the Cape Blanco Lighthouse. The lighthouse area was closed, however, we've visited here before and we are just out enjoying the coastal scenery today.
The oldest standing lighthouse on the Oregon coast towers 245 feet above the ocean. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management, the lighthouse was commissioned in 1870.
