Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center and More of Downtown Port Aransas

Our next stop today was the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center.  We have been here several times in the past and we never seem to be disappointed with the number of birds that are at the center.

We had dinner at Avery's in Port Aransas and then we parked the car and did a little shop browsing.

 

Loads of these buggies running around  Port Aransas.

The Islander is a great souvenir shop.  We had lots of fun looking at tons of stuff we have no room for. 

We bought some really good salt water taffy and some not so great chocolate.  

When we were really tired of shopping, we checked into Rodeway Inn in Corpus Christi for two nights.
