Compass Rose Park, Rockport, Texas

This morning we checked out of the Captain's Quarters and drove over to Rockport to do some birding.  We ended up stopping at Walmart to buy a low end camera and batteries because Lee didn't bring his batteries with him and I didn't bring my battery charger.   We are supposed to help each other remember stuff but, obviously, it isn't working!

Our first stop was The Compass Rose Labyrinth at Triangle Park which is located on Business Highway 35.  The park has a labyrinth that incorporates a nautical theme fitting of Rockport’s maritime history.
