We have been trying to get together with Al & Miriam practically all season to get to the National Butterfly Musuem in Mission but either one of us was busy or the weather wasn't cooperating. We finally made it today, but not without difficulty. We had the whole thing planned and then I found out that a Committee I had signed up for next year was meeting this morning at 9 AM. We didn't get to leave until after 11:30 AM so we just went to lunch. Al & Miriam had never been to a Chick Fil A before so we introduced them to it. It is our favorite fast food place. Lee and I both had the grilled chicken and fruit salad which is well within my diet. They seemed to like the chicken too. The Chick Fil A's down here in the Valley are crowded all the time and the lines for the take out are unbelievable.
After lunch we headed to the National Butterfly Museum. We managed to get a little lost but we finally made it. It will definitely be a place we come back to. Lee got some great pics of butterflies!
