Nana's Taqueria with the SC Summer Group

We had dinner at Nana's Taqueria on Thursday night. The food was great, the Mariachi was excellent and the company was wonderful. Love this place and it is only a few blocks from us.

There we are sitting with Jeanette. Jeanette works in the Southern Comfort Office and has been a great help to us there. She has been around so long that she knows the ins and outs of what need to be done. If she doesn't know how to do it, she knows who we need to go to. Plus she is just an upbeat person to be around. 

They don't have Mariachi every night but normally on the weekends.

LaJoya ISD Folkloria and Mariachi

 If you ever get a chance to see the Folkloria and Mariachi presentation to LaJoya ISD, do go. It is just an awesome evening. The problem is that to get tickets you have to get up at about 4 AM and drive over there to get in a line to get the tickets. They always are sold out by the second day. So, we went over this time to get the tickets for a group and one other time we found some people that volunteered to stand in line. 

Once you are on your way to the performance, there are no problems. They have it working like clockwork.

These kids are soooo talented, it sometimes can take your breath away. 

I forgot to mention, the costumes are just unbelievable.
