McAllen Festival of Lights

 

Tonight we drove over to McAllen for the McAllen Festival of Lights. This year we were able to walk the grounds instead of it being just a drive thru event. However, it was a pretty chilly evening so driving through might have been preferable tonight! LOL!

These trees kept changing colors. It was awesome!

Tonight they lite the Christmas Tree for the first time and so we had a count down!

We watched as it continued to change colors and designs. It's a fabulous tree!

Illumina at Quinta Mazatlan

Tonight we went over to McAllen to enjoy the "llumina Fest" at Quinta Mazatlan. Quinta Mazatlan is is a historical Adobe mansion and nature and birding center located in McAllen, Texas.

A Snake in the Garden

At the home "Quinta Mazatlan" there were some displays on various Christmas Folk Art. 

Then we walked back through the festivities and the lights..

It was a beautiful night. I took a jacket but I really didn't need it.
