Our last stop for the day was the Meadow View Nature Area in Ennis. It is a beautiful little park with tons of wild flowers and areas where they are seeding them. It has a nice lake too.

ENNIS BLUE BONNET TRAIL
We have been having a wonderful time looking at the bluebonnets this year. We actually timed it right for a change and that has made all the difference.
This is a map of the wild flower viewing areas near Ennis and we followed all the routes so we have a ton of pictures. It was just beautiful. We could have wished for a bit more sunshine and maybe a bit more warmth as it was in the 60's today, but we are certainly happy we came.
I don't think there is any explanation needed - just enjoy the views. We sure did!
