We signed up for a bus trip at our new digs in Waukee, Iowa and headed for the Iowa Lavender farm located in rural Ames, Iowa. On May 2020 the first 150 lavender plants were put in the ground. Jessica Mortvedt started making hand-crafted lavendar products and Iowa Lavendar was officially established as a business. In 2021 the planted another 100 plants.

I purchased some lavender salve and I was amazed and how quickly it helped my dry skin on the heels of my feet.
