Hidalgo has the largest lighting display in Texas with more than three million lights and more than 500 large lighted displays on a three mile trail through Hidalgo. This year, however, because of Covid, the event wasn't held in the Hidalgo Square. It was held at the Doge Arena in Hidalgo. It was a drive thru event this year and it was wonderful. However, we sure enjoyed walking the square and taking the tram and the different choirs or singers who performed in the square. That is how the event is normally held.
It was still an event not to be missed.
