Hidalgo Pump House 9/20/20

 

We had a nice day yesterday at the Pump House grounds. It was a beautiful day - in the low 80's.

 

I wonder if they are doing the movies here now during Covid. Probably not but it looks like fun.

Kiskadee

No kids so I managed to try out the swing.

Mocking Bird - you don't want one to nest near your bedroom - they sing all night!

The grounds here are always well maintained and lovely and if you want to see the Border Wall up close, it is good for that too!

Here's the Border Patrol at the border fence. Don't worry that this fence is too short. This is sort of a cliff behind and it is really far to the ground on the opposite side. There is a Border Patrol Station right down the road from here. And there is a trail that we have walked previously all along this part of the wall.

I would not want this tree in my yard - look at the trunk!
