Birding at Estero Llano Grande State Park

We got up very early to do blood tests today at the resort so we decided to head over to Estero Llano to do some birding. It was a really nice day- on the chilly side when we started out. We went to a bird blind that is off the beaten path first and did a bit of exploring around there. Ended up seeing a Javelina at one of the bird feeding stations. When we left we came across an Eastern Screech Owl which we hadn't seen before. We wouldn't have seen him this time except some people knew he was there so I got a picture of him and since he was hiding in the building behind a huge tree, it is pretty good.

Our first stop is normally the Indigo Blind just to see who is feeding their today.
