Birding at Edinburg Birding Center

We ate breakfast this morning at Denny's and then decided to see what was happening at the Birding Center in Edinburg. We didn't see anything exciting today but we had a nice walk. Then it was off to pick up some groceries and home.

Easter at the Basilica of Our Lady Of San Juan

We had an Easter Potluck at Southern Comfort today that we attended. Enough food for the 7th army and we have some great cooks here!

We decided to attend an Easter Mass at the Basilica today. It was decorated beautifully.  We got there early so we could take a few pictures.

The Cattleman's Club

 The Summer Group from Southern Comfort took a trip today to Harlingen to have dinner at the Long Horn Cattle Company in San Benito, Texas. This is a really nice and fun place to have dinner. The food was excellent and the company even better. 

Later, we went out in the back and took a look at the longhorns.

Nana's Taqueria

Tonight we went out to eat with Marlene and Darryl Duke. We had been talking about Marachi in the office today and she told me about Nana's Taqueria. We have driven by it on several occasions but never knew anything about it. She said they loved to go there because the food and drinks were good and the mariachi was fantastic.

So based on her recommendation, we decided we had better try it out. So glad we did. This place is really close to Southern Comfort and it is a real treat to spend a evening there on Mariachi Night.
